Are there any reports available about the Austrian startups ecosystem?

Yes, the Austrian Startup Monitor should provide you with all facts and figures about startups in Austria.

Are you looking for great talent and want to share this with the AustrianStartups community?

We are not advertising job offers via our social media channels or our newsletter. But there are better ways anyway.Simply post your job offer in one of the following Facebook groups (people are very friendly there):

Can I get the contact info of “one of the Runtastic Guys”, “Hansi” or Michael Altrichter?

We recommend attending one of the startup events in Austria (e.g. listed in our event calendar) to meet your startup hero and get in touch directly.

Can I send you my press information to share it?

We do not share press information directly. Feel free to submit an article published about your startup and we might share it with the AustrianStartups community.,

Can you introduce me to an investor / business angel / VC?

We’d recommend attending the next Stammtisch or another startup event within your area. Chances are high you’ll meet someone who can introduce you to an investor.

Can you recommend a lawyer / tax adivsor specialised on startups?

As we are a neutral organization we do not recommend any services or companies directly, but you can check out our partners, which we prefer working together with.

Can you share our job advertisment?

At the moment we are not sharing any job advertisment, but there are better channels anyway. We recommend posting your ads here:

We do not have any legal contract templates right now, but WKO offers them in their download section.,

You can approach most of the investors directly via their website or LinkedIn profile. Nevertheless recommendations via your own network often work best.,

How can I get to know the people behind AustrianStartups and the association itself?

Nothing easier than that – We organize a monthly Stammtisch in Vienna and events in all other Austrian provinces. Come by and say hello! The AustrianStartups Stammtisch in Vienna takes place every 3rd Tuesday on a monthly base. The events in all other Austrian provinces are organized regularly. Read all the info here.

Often people are not talking about their ideas, because they fear someone might steal it. But especially in the very early days it is very important to get a lot of feedback. Feel free to read this article for more information.

Unfortunately we don’t have enough ressources to discuss your idea in person and give feedback individually. We recommend using the power of the crowd and either posting in one of the following Facebook Groups or coming to our monthly Stammtisch to exchange with others.
